We are pleased to announce that we have acquired a majority stake in Conquip Engineering for £50m. Conquip is a family-owned provider of specialist equipment and engineered solutions to the infrastructure, utilities, energy and built environment sectors.
Founded in 2003 and led by brothers Daniel and George Critchley, Conquip has established a strong reputation for customer-led innovation, provision of safety-critical products and services that increase productivity. Daniel and George will continue to lead the business and will reinvest alongside Caledonia.
Working in partnership with the management team, we will support Conquip’s next phase of development through investment in its rental fleet, the national expansion of its specialist shoring proposition, continued product innovation and selective acquisitions.
