Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The board of Caledonia Investments plc (“Caledonia”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Gregson as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.

Mr Gregson has been employed at United Business Media Plc and its predecessor companies for the last 35 years in a number of divisional and head office roles, most recently as Chief Executive Officer of U.S. headquartered PR Newswire. He is also Chairman of ICAP plc and a non-executive director of International Personal Finance plc.

Commenting on the appointment, James Loudon, Chairman of Caledonia, said: “I am delighted that Charles Gregson has agreed to join Caledonia as a non-executive director. His considerable business knowledge and experience, gained both in the U.K. and U.S., will provide a valuable additional resource to our board.”
